Appealing visuals and proper HTML are important to ease users into a new application and to increase overall user satisfaction. Scipio ERP is built around the mantra that pretty visuals should be easy to achieve. All applications were standardized, all html rendering elements grouped into a set of easy-to-learn macros (Templating Toolkit) and custom themes were given the complete control over all html and css definitions.
This gives developers a powerful toolset to create new themes on-the-fly. To ease the way into theme development we added a new and detailed tutorial that outlines all aspects of theme creation. The tutorial gives a complete example over all the necessary steps and the underlying concepts at hand.
