User notifications are playing an important role in modern user interfaces. And although Scipio ERP has always had the means to signal the user of page-events, we felt that there was a significant lack of notifications that can be tracked across all applications. We want to be able to notify the user of ongoing events and lead him directly to the page where an action is required.
This is why for Release 1.14.3 we have begun to implement a messaging system that can be used for different system and communication events. The idea is that important system events (new user tasks, communication events, questions etc.) and user correspondences can spawn user notifications. Next time the recipient logs on, he will be notified by a small icon on the top-navigation.
